Austria GP Compact: TV, Schedule, Live Ticker / Formula 1

Everything is set for an exciting motorsport festival at the Red Bull Ring: the Austrian Grand Prix starts on June 30 at 3 p.m. Everything you need to know about the World Cup race in Styria is here in GP Compact.

At the moment the best Formula 1 driver is taking a decisive step on the road to another home win for his Red Bull Racing team in Spielberg: Max Verstappen’s pole position over Briton Lando Norris (McLaren).

Verstappen has won the Austrian Grand Prix four times (2018, 2019, 2021 and 2023) and won the Styrian GP in 2021.

On the day Verstappen took pole, the racing icons of the “Legends Parade 2024” got to know their legendary cars.

GP Sunday (12.30pm) will see half a century of motorsport history brought to life in the ninth edition of this subsidiary event. The main cast includes Emerson Fittipaldi in Lotus 72 to Gerhard Berger sitting in Michael Schumacher’s 2002 Ferrari.

Another dress rehearsal took place on Saturday evening: Martin Grubinger trained with the winners of the Anthem Challenge for their life’s musical dedication. Just before the start of the race, 50 Formula 1 fans and the Microwave Allstars will perform “Land der Berge”, a version by Hollywood legend Hans Zimmer.

Several “meet the drivers” sessions sweetened fan attendance this weekend. Anyone who can’t get up close to the F1 stars at the Red Bull Ring should take advantage of one last chance on the “Styrian Green Carpet”.

On the way to the racetrack on Sunday (8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.), pilots and team bosses stop in front of the welcome center to sign autographs and take time for souvenir photos. All details about the program can be found here.
