As the airline Ryanair announced in a short statement today, Linz/Hörsching airport will be included in the flight schedule again in the future and flights will once again depart from Linz.
Norbert Traskovitz, managing director of Linz Airport, confirmed the plans and confirmed that Ryanair will again depart from Hörsching – but he did not want to divulge any details just yet. “Summer business is going well, we are well booked, and this development with Ryanair is definitely positive for us,” says Traskovitz. This year’s numbers are also growing nicely, “we’re a little bit above last year.”
Ryanair canceled the non-stop connection between Linz-Hörsching Airport and London-Stansted Airport in 2018. Ryanair did not give a reason for the cancellation at the time. For Linz Airport, two-week cycles were eliminated.
